Ethiopia Coach Sewnet Bishaw has announced his 23 man final
squad for this month's Africa Cup of Nations due to be held in South Africa. Swedish-born
midfielder Yusuf Salah, Saladin Seid, who plays for Egypt's Wadi Degla, and
winger Fuad Ibrahim who is with Minnesota Stars are foreign-based players named
on Wednesday.
The Walia Antelopes are drawn in Group C along with Zambia, Nigeria and Burkina Faso. The tournament is scheduled between January 19th and February 10th 2013.
Ethiopia’s opening game is on January 21 against defending
champions Zambia in Nelspruit.
