  5. How public or civel servant will be treat in 40/60 housing schem, nothing said clearly.

  6. It is not clear how civil servants will be registered and treated in 40/60? Since the intention of the program is to access the ones who desperate need of house if the ones who deposit 100% can get priority where is the saving principle? It needs making clear and investigating how to reach civil servants who can save and use this opportunity. Otherwise again the program will be monopolized and fall under corrupted officials and others ...

  11. Government employees will be given advantage as it is said. But what about government employees who were registered 7 years before? Why neglected? or is there any means to incorporate them? Because government employees will be advantageous if only registered in the new registration if i am not mistaken.

  15. I am really mad at Ethiopian Embassy which is located in Washington DC. I have been tiring to get information from Ethiopian embassy about the registration process to get the condominium. it is been more than a week I could not get them on phone. They have 1 hr phone service and they don't answer the phone even in that 1 hour. If any one knows more info about how to register please leave it as a comment.

  20. Haw can u do and whare to register in us to 40/60?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Basically if you would like to register for 40/60 you would need the 40% down payment at the time of registration. For example for 3 bedroom you would need to bring about $9000 with you. Then the embassy representatives would open up an account for you, closed acceount, with commercial bank of ethiopia. They will then give you a paper to fill out so that you can pick so someone in ethiopia, wokil wukilina, to represent you. You send that person all the paperwork so he/she can basically do the rest for you. So bring money and think of someone in Ethiopia to be your agent/wokil and the rest will be handled by the embassy...according to a friend who works at ethiopian embassy in Washington, dc.
