FIFA said Sunday June 16 they are probing whether Ethiopia, Togo and Equatorial Guinea each used an ineligible player in 2014 World Cup qualifiers. The match being investigated is the 2-1 win by Ethiopia in Botswana, FIFA said in a statement.
The FIFA statement did not name the ineligible player being investigated nor give a date when the findings will be released.
